History of St. John's Preschool
The Preschool was established in 1969 and is operated by St. John's Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod). The preschool offers an early childhood educational experience within a Christian environment.
Program
The preschool program is planned to help each child grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. It is a non-profit private school, licensed by the State of Michigan. Tuition is charged on a term basis to member and non-member children. Our well-equipped classrooms are bright, clean, and safe. We use main floor classrooms 2 and 3 which feature windows on two sides.
Director
Our preschool is fully licensed and certified by the State of Michigan. Our director, Mrs. Laura Weber, is assisted in the classroom by several trained and experienced staff members.

Extended Care
We offer an extended care for all enrolled preschool/kindergarteners.
Parent-Teacher Society
The PTS meets 4 - 6 times during the school year to develop a close relationship between the school, church, and home. The PTS also supports various functions of the school. All parents of children in our school are encouraged to participate.
Volunteers
Parents with a varied amount of education and professional training are invited to serve voluntarily on a part-time basis. Volunteers, directed by the teacher, are used to assist the teacher in carrying out assigned routine duties so that teachers are free to work with individuals and groups.
