Senior High Ministries is designed for high school youth, grades 9-12.  We have students in six area schools.  We offer a wide variety of activities including social events such as putt putt golf, bowling, and sports night.  Faith and service projects include over night retreats, hunger famine, birthday cards for shut-ins, and more.  We offer a Sunday morning Bible study from 9:30-10:30am in the youth room.  We have added a monthly evening(4-6pm) teen home Bible study rotating from house to house.  Friends are always welcome.  For more information or for a brochure, call the youth director.

Junior High Ministries target our junior high youth, grades 6-8.  We currently have students in six area middle schools.  Students help set up the year of activities which include horseback riding, visiting nursing homes, mall hunts, service projects, lock-in's, and dances.  We offer a Sunday morning junior high Bible study...friends are welcome!  For more information or for a youth brochure call the youth line at 835-5861  Ext. 204.   Youth are sent monthly newsletters to keep them updated on current events.  You can be added to the list by calling the youth director.

National Youth Gathering is hosted every three years by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  Youth attend great sectionals on topics relating to their lives.  Plans are in now in the works for the next gathering!

Mission Trips St. John's Lutheran has participated in a number of mission outreach trips both out of state (Kentucky and New York state) and in 2006 planned for Midland County.  For information contact Deb Stark.

Scouts St. John's is blessed to offer scouting programs for both girls and boys at all age levels.  Monthly activities and meetings are planned throughout the year.  Call the youth line at 835-5861 Ext. 204 for more information.

VBS is held August 6-10, 2007.    We welcome all children from age 3 through the 8th grade!  Come and join us.  Click on the link to get to our VBS Home page.  From there you will have access to forms, dates, schedules, and more!

Sunday School is a great tool for leaning and growing in God's Word.  We use Concordia Publishing materials as our base, with complimenting lessons.  We have classes from 3 year old through high school.  We meet Sunday mornings from 9:30 -10:30am, September through May of each year.

Nursery St. John's offers a clean and safe nursery facility.  It is staffed by volunteers on Sunday mornings at 8am and 10:45am.  The nursery for the sanctuary is located in room #3 (Carpenter Street side of the church); the Joyful Praise nursery is located in the kindergarten room #11 (Reardon Street side of the church near the fellowship hall.  There are plenty of toys and books for toddlers.

Cradle Roll is for our youngest members, birth through 5 year old.  We mail special information for parents about children development and children receive birthday cards.  If you would like information, please call the church office at 835-5861.

College Ministry   We currently send devotional materials and goodie bags through the year.
