Becoming A Member

When you join St. John's Lutheran Church, you are making a commitment to the mission of making Disciples of Jesus Christ.  You become a member of a faith-family in which each person is dedicated to mutual Christian support.   You are encouraged to be a willing example of Christian living in all phases of your life.  Thus, joining a Christian congregation begins with a decision that will include a commitment of time, energy, and resources.

Those considering first-time membership in the Lutheran Church are invited to attend a series of church membership classes.  These classes are designed to teach or review Christian doctrine and the fundamentals of Lutheranism.

If you are already a member of a Lutheran congregation, but wish to make a change, contact your home church, St. John's church office, or one of the pastors for a letter of transfer.

For additional information, please contact the church office.
